Be part of the St Bernadette Relic Pilgrimage in Ireland this Autumn.
In September and October this year the relics of St Bernadette will journey on pilgrimage to Ireland for the very first time, visiting every diocese in the country.
This very special , once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisma of Lourdes .
In the Killaloe Diocese the relics will be received into the Cathedral in Ennis at 10.30am on Monday 9th September. Veneration and prayer will continue throughout the day with a concelebrated Mass at 7.30pm followed by a Marian Torchlight Procession through the grounds of the Cathedral. On Tuesday veneration will continue in the morning until 12noon.
At 3pm on Tuesday 10th September the relics will be received into the Church of our Lady of Lourdes in Silvermines Co Tipperary with veneration and prayer until concelebrated Mass at 8pm followed by Marian Torchlight Procession. Veneration will continue on Wednesday morning with Mass of Farewell at 10am.
